I've had my lip pierced for about a month or two now....and was wondering how long I could take my ring out before it would start to close?

I'm not exactly sure, but I'd like to say that the first poster is incorrect. They are not at all like earrings, they are more like eyebrow rings. Mine fell out one night and I woke up with it closed enough to not be able to get the bar back in.
