What would happen if this were true? Hurricane Prediction.?
My boyfriend predicts that between October 21 and November 1, a major hurricane will hit between St. Augustine, FL and Georgetown, SC. His first initial prediction was Coco Beach, FL but he then said that may be a little too far south.
Weird huh? He likes meteorology and he's pretty good at predicting weather.
Not really a question - more of a statement.

He might be right, he might be wrong. One guess, good or bad, doesn't prove much of anything. What are the historical odds for the past 50 years? Have him make 10 predictions like this, and see how they come out compared to history. (prediction of zero hurricanes for North Dakota doesn't count, because that's the same as history.)
Well look at last year we didn't have any major hurricanes like we usually do. I think this year will make up for it
thats not really a guess... thats a large piece of land and for a hurricane to hit, and it is hurricane season.
