Ok,This will sound a little strange but work i used to te my nails Alot so my mon gav me an old family secrete you ca put Fish Oil on your nails it taste Absolutely horrid so when you (pick at you cuticles?) you wont do it for te rest of the day keep it on for only 5 days it should work it di for me

Oh my gosh I do the same thing too!! I recently stopped though. The way that's helped me is put lotion on and around my cuticles, so there's no dead skin. As for pushing them back, you could go to a salon to get them cut of or you could still do it, and use "thumb" it looks like a nail polish bottle, but has yellow Liquid stuff inside.
