I am looking for an easy way to triple boot a Windows 7 Pro 64bit Laptop to also have Linux Ubuntu & Ziron installed on one machine.
If this isn't possible can I dual boot a different Laptop (upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro) with Ubuntu?
Many thanks for your answers in advance

You have to use partitioning software, and I recommend Easus Partition Manager. It runs in Windows.
The setup I use is 3 primary partitions and an extended partition with a couple of NTFS logical drives and ext2 partitions for Linux.
Windows 7 requires a Primary Partition, of which you can use 3. I call them C1 C2 and C3.
Ubuntu can run quite happily in a logical partition.
I recommend running Grub within the Windows 7 boot menu. There is a text file you edit to add or remove entries in the Grub menu. (Grub 2 for Dos).
Another good solution that I used to use is GAG, but I use to run that from a floppy disc but my new laptop doesn't have one. It can be installed to the hard-drive.
If you use the primary partitions for windows, you can run Windows 8. I use "pqboot for windows" to switch between windows versions.
Well this is what i might do: Load the Ubuntu are living CD and in the partitioner (gparted) make 2 empty partitions (This would take time if it has to move various knowledge around from the windows 7 partition) install red Hat Linux onto one partition. However do not set up the boot loader yet (GRUB or Lilo) Then, install Ubuntu onto the last empty partition and install the bootloader (GRUB2). It is going to mechanically detect both windows 7 and red Hat and create a menu to choose from your 3 OSs each time you boot. However yeah, Linux forums can have higher recommendation.
it's called partitioning your hard rive, or spiting it into separate sectors. Google Dual Boot, there are plenty of tutorials out there. Too long to explain on here.
