alright she is not being straightforward with you. there could be many reasons for that.

1. first, that you learnt from other people that she likes you means she has been talking about you hoping you would get to know that she likes you.

2. she wanted you to make the first move and so she led you on.

3. but now she seems to not want to have anything serious with you. it seems she just wants to fool around with no strings attached. but what's uncool is that even after you have been straighforward with her shes not being completely honest about what she wants. thats not cool.

4. I'd just hang around her and go with the flow to see if anything develops. I'm in a similar situation(knew the chick for 13 years and I'm 25) and I'm hoping it "flows" where I want it to.
