This is one of my own recipes which I have adapted to fit the w/w plan and no one can tell the difference.
Minestrone Soup (serves 4 - Points per serving = 0)
3 ham stock cubes
3 medium carrots (chopped)
2 sticks celery
1 leek
1 tin chopped tomatoes
Handful green beans
1 or 2 cloves garlic
Oregano
Cook all ingredients together for a bout 20 mins, remove half and blend the rest. Add a handful of green beans and cook for a further 10 mins.(cooking for an extra 30 mins will greatly enhance the flavour)
Tips
To make a bit extra special:
1oz (30g) of dried pasta can be added (1 point)
Serve with 1 tsp Parmesan cheese (½ point per serving)
I in simple terms make up my very own WW soups. Any veggie soups are low in factors. One I extremely love is Tomato Basil Soup. I made the recipe up so quantities are approximate. 2 great carrots, peeled and chopped 2 celery stalks, chopped a million clove garlic, minced a million c onion, chopped a million c basil leaves, finely chopped 3 great (the biggest length, they're approximately 28 oz..i think of) cans of total tomatoes, chopped and use liquid too 2 cartons low sodium poultry broth a million tbsp pepper a million tsp cayenne pepper a million tbsp Mrs. sprint Saute the onion, carrots, celery and garlic in a pan (using non-stick cooking spray) till delicate. In a pot sufficiently enormous to hold all the soup factors, pour interior the inventory, upload the vegetables, tomatoes (with liquid) and seasonings. deliver to a slow boil then turn right down to simmer. After 20 min upload basil, prepare dinner for 10 extra min. Puree 0.5 the soup using a blender and return it to the pot and stir all of it collectively. rejoice with!!!!! 0 factors!!!!!!!
