Why did you capitalize UPS? I suspect there's a joke in there somewhere, but I don't get it.
Anyway, theoretically, you just have to reduce your body fat % - so get a body fat % scale (like a regular scale, but it measures your body fat % in addition to your weight) from Wal-Mart or Target and start recording it everyday.
Then do exercise (push-ups alone will not do it, and might even hurt, because they build the muscle under the fat - a combination of aerobics and weight training should be best - alternate days, rest 1 or 2 days a week) and diet (minimize any kind of sugar, corn syrup, etc. - probably no dairy either, or meat unless it's organic AND grass-fed). Eat a traditional East Asian diet - rice and/or beans, plus green vegetables and some fish or eggs (again, organic) or meat (as above).
Watch how your body fat % changes according to what you're doing differently. It'll take time, but if you keep at it, it should get you results.
I emphasize organic meat and especially poultry because I suspect that the antibiotics and growth hormones factory farms feed the animals is a big culprit in America's obesity epidemic in general, and the man-boob phenomenon in particular.
In some ways yes, others no. Doing pushups is a muscle build, in order to lose fat you must do cardiovascular workouts. Building muscle is great, but lifting weight is not the best way to lose fat. When your metabolism shoots up, pushups, sit ups, etc will start to pin point the fat however. This is the same with gaining a six pack. You must burn the fat that is concealing the muscle!
whatever you do its not going to go away unless you burn the fat . you cant spot reduct , your body loses fat from everywhere else until the boobs and belly last in men. So you just gotta go hard at losen the fat , but if you add weight training it can shape it out to look better. So you may look better with chest muscle than a guy who has no muscle would still have boobs at your weight. Go hard traing hard and get rid of the sacks
