This is what I did for my 14th party, and it was the best ever!

Get a big group of kids together, maybe around 20-30 (depending on how many you can invite) and divide them into random teams of five people. Give each team a color, and what I did was let everyone go through my old dress up stuff and dance costumes, to find an outfit of the color team they were on. If you don't have that kind of stuff, you can always use bandanas and tye dye shirts, which is totally fun! Then, have someone, like an older sibling, make a scavenger hunt. I had six drivers (including my older sister, her friends, my mom, and my friends parents). Each team got a driver, and each team must have a camera. You have to complete as many items on the list as you can, in the two hour time span. The catch is, that there are harder things to do that are worth more points, and easier things that give less points. The person who made the scavenger list is the one who judges after the two hours are up. They will go through the pictures and add up scores, while you and your friends hang out and tell stories about the last two hours. Everyone is in a great mood, and ready for the reveal of the winner! Then, whoever wins, gets a prize (you can pick this out yourself if you wish).

Now, we definitely didn't do a stupid average scavenger hunt like "go to someone's door and ask for a pipe cleaner"... The tasks were all around our city, and it was the most fun we've ever had!

Here are some examples that we used, and some new ones that would work for your party...

Find three people that will make a pyrimad, with two people on their knees on the bottom, and on person on top- 7 points

Go to (insert nearby restaurant), and get a waiter to lick a mint and stick it to their forehead- 8 points points

Go Christmas caroling at a teacher's house- 10 points

Find a kid who can sing the whole phineas and ferb themesong (we actually found a kid WEARING a phineas and ferb tee shirt, which made the video even better!)- 7 points

Write everyone's name in your group in the sand at (whatever park is nearby)- 5 points

Take a picture where everyone is in a halloween mask- 6 points

Serenade a Starbucks worker (with a guitar, wherever you can find one first) and sing- 8 points

Take pictures different state license plates (not including your own state. also, this one you can just find license plates as you are driving around, kind of like a filler task in between the bigger ones)- 3 points for each plate

You just have to think of creative things like that. They are so much fun to take pictures of, and it gets really competitive against the other teams. You will probably run in to some teams around town, and it gets so funny! Everyone still says it's the best party they have been to, and we all remember it as the last thing we all did in middle school.
