can anyone suggest any nice family days out in west Yorkshire/Yorkshire?
my daughter is 3 nearly 4 wondered if you know of any good places to visit for the day or good weekend breaks... we live in west yorks dont want to travel to far
Center Parc's, Brewery Warf in Leeds, York Museum, Knaresborough boating and afternoon tea, The Dome swimming in Doncatster, The foodcort, shopping and movies at Meadowhall in Sheffield.
there is a lovely little farm/zoo in heckmondwyke near cleckheaton, its called ponderosa and just the right thing for your little ones age.. also what used to be emmerdale farm near harry ramsdens at guiseley is nice. shipley glen near baildon has a little fair, picnic area, rock climbing and things..also shibden park at halifax is a great big park with little train you can go on, was a building site couple of weeks ago though so check they have finished doing it up before you set off.. happy hols x
i live in leeds when my cousin came i took her to tropical world in roundhay, it was a great day out seeing lots of animals and plants, meercats, fish, bats etc.. was really fun and she really enoyed it, the best thing about it was it was only about £3 to get in, and i think it may be free for under fives definatly worth a visit

Why don't you get her a breeze card if you don't have it already. As they can get free books at the leeds library, As my cousin is 3 and got it too :)
Have fun during this great weather :)
