There's this website called ask.fm (You might know about it) You can ask people questions or just give them a comment anonymously, and then they can respond. So there is this girl with low self esteem and she made one so I went on hers and commented a billion times how gorgeous she is, to make her think that lots of people are telling her that, even though it was just me. She responded to all of them and was very happy and appreciative, and now I feel like a jerk because lots of people weren't actually complimenting her, and she believes they were. I only wanted to make her feel better about herself! Was this wrong of me??

I'm going to have to say yes and no. No because it was nice to give her that compliment, but yes because you led her on to think all those people said it. In a way, it's lying to her, and now in her head, she thinks she got tons of compliments. You can't do that to someone. If she found out it wasn't all those people, she'll be extremely hurt&embarrassed. Even though it was anonymous, what if someone calls her ugly?? Or more people do? Instead of pretending to be other people, give her wise words of encouragement. Sorry to be a preacher and all, but I knew if that was me, I would be a little disappointed it was the same person. But, good job on giving the compliment. That was nice of you to do.

No, you're actually a really good person. I've seen some of the hate people get on there, so it's nice to hear about somebody spreading some positivity. Keep it up. :)
