How do you come up with a title for your books? I'm having some trouble thinking of a title for mine, so I was curios.
Also, how do you feel about books whose titles are just the character's name? Would you read a book if it were just named "Jared" or should I think of something that has more to do with the story?
Thanks for your help!

You could go with something that you personally liked in the book. Something that a character says or does sometime in the book you could use as a title.
For names as titles, go ahead. Just keep them catchy. But I would rather have something that is in the book be the title than a character's name.
Do something more with the story but make it subtle. Really obvious titles aren't as good but maybe one that gives some good insight. I wouldn't read a book with just the character's name unless it had a really good summary.
I find titles are often best when thought-provoking. When I scout about for a new read, I almost always go for relevant, yet curious title.
Take Great Expectations. 'Great Expectations' is more thought-provoking than 'Pip', who's the main character.
i like the call 19 years that different all and sundry is announcing, yet i think of which you do no longer bypass on dying row for manslaughter because of the fact it wasn't intentional homicide. The worst he could get could be life in penitentiary, except he replaced into wrongly convicted someway. additionally enable me wager the lady he falls in love with in simple terms take place to have a connection with the guy that he killed?
