i don't think itw ould increase sweating on the face permanently

you sweat because you get hot so your body tries to cool itself down

but if you aren't steaming your face at the time, theres no reason for you to sweat more

you are obviously going to sweat when you steam your face though

Not that I know of. The steam on the face will open pores and that all I know of.
