I got a new Gateway NV76 laptop computer yesterday and bought The Sims 2 Double Deluxe (which is compatible with Vista). I got Windows 7 on the computer, and while the actual game itself will work the Sims 2 Body Shop will not work. Any ideas or suggestions as to why this is?

I thought I should point out that the Body Shop will not even start up. It won't do anything, and yes I'm waiting for about a minute before I give up.
