Depends on who the person is and sometimes where they come from.
- For example, People like Paris Hilton who was born with money will grow up having no problem knowing what its like to struggle though next months rent.
- ... and also, if you were born with an amazing talent, there are chances that you will succeed in that area in the future.
In other ways, People who struggle have the potential to succeed to are most likely in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Sometimes its a matter of knowing what you want... and if you don't know you tend to flounder a bit until you know unfortunately but the key is to hang in there and everything falls into place sooner or later. Sometimes... it is luck... Sometimes it the approach you use to get what you want, there are ways of doing things that are more successful than others and if you get that right, then you are all set. Also, you have to keep in mind that while things are hard, if you are determined, you can turn it all around, just have to work out the best way to do it..
not everyone sees themselves as a victim. yes, attitude, hard work matters. Despite that some people still struggle. Life is sometimes not fair. I am being realistic. Some struggle a lot and some have it easy
A lot of it has to do with a person's point of view and attitude. Some people (choose to) make "victims" of themselves, others won't allow anything or anyone to stand in their way. Part of the reason for this has to do with the way they were treated and raised, part of it has to do with the fact that people rarely realize they can change most anything they want...if they would choose to. They simply believe things are the way they are and they are powerless to change anything, let alone themselves.
If one is disciplined and orderly. If one is organized, systematic, regular and punctual. If one is not lazy. If one is having positive outlook with right and correct vision. If one utilizes his knowledge, power, time and resources for right pursuits only, one succeeds easily. Those who are not practicing the above qualities struggle.
What matters is what we DO and not what we GET. We should think of what we HAVE, and not what others HAVE.
If we are HOPEFUL and not HOPELESS, everything will be different. Do what you are supposed to do; keep doing it and you'll be rewarded. Our main mission in life is to DO what must be done. And always remember: "Hope for the best, and get ready for the worst."

It sucks but just how things are.
Life distributes its unfairness fairly to all.
While it may appear that others succeed easily, we have not "walked in their moccasins" through the daily-ness of their getting there.
