Why does the Bible not speak on science?
You think God would want us to know the cure for cancer or how to build a car or make a heater for winter.
Why does the bible only speak on floods and destruction and jesus, but nothing useful, scientifically speaking.
If the blue print for a water molecule was in the bible this would be undisputed proof of God.
Update:Science is back by proof. Some times it may begin as an idea, but if it is backed up over and over again it in not an assumption. Then fact that your able to type a response on you computer shows this.

The Bible is not a science book, it is the Divinely inspired Word of God. That said, it wouldn't need to contain blueprints for anything. The Bible is meant to give us spiritual guidance. Think about it like this: science books help us in our physical life, while the Bible is meant to help us spiritually. The Bible is all about our faith. Also, you may be interested to know this, but if you check out parts of Leviticus (namely the dietary and sanitation laws), they are well ahead of their time. For example, the reason it says not to eat pork isn't only because it was considered "unclean", but also because it was very dangerous to do so. I believe Buddha dies fro eating raw pork. Make sense?

Because though some Greeks were making the first inroads into rational inquiry at the time, the scientific method had not been established. And the Hebrews didn't like the early Greek tries at rational inquiry, they preferred their little "just-so" story fairy tales about their imaginary tribal god instead.
It does speak on science. its just that its almost always wrong when it does so, strangely enough what says is often generally in line with what other ancient peoples also believed,
Whadaya mean? It was the Bible that told us the earth is flat with a big dome over it with water on the other side.
Unfortunately all those goat herders did not have the opportunity to attend a science class.
The Bible has plenty of science, it's just bad science.
Here hold on I see on TV, many tribes painting their huts and floors with animal sh I t , so they new the science if sh it paint.
Can't have all these people believing based on evidence, that would not fit the definition of faith, which is believing without evidence.
Because it's not a science textbook.
That is not the purpose of God's Word and Will as preserved in The Bible...... God expects man-kind to use the brains God gave us.... He has left plenty of clues to His Creative Work.... it is up to man-kind to figure out as much of it as we can... and to use what we learn for the betterment of man-kind......
so far man-kind has not done a very good job of it
