Why do my arms go numb and my back tingles everytime I smoke a cigarette?

I get like a tingling/numb sensation in my right arm and the bottom of my spine tingles, I'm just curious as to why?

Smoking decreases the amount of oxygen in the bloodstream. I think I would ask my doc about this, to be sure there's no heart complication.
