well I ruled out an affair because there are NO asian people where I live...so why does my child have black hair, brown eyes, and well asian skin tone when we are both blonde hair, blue eyed Scandinavians.

if the child is newborn, then her features are not set. kids in my family (we're all blue eyes with blonde hair too) were born with black hair and then the babies lost the hair, and it then regrew blonde. if you're really uncertain, i would try taking a paterinty test, but be careful if you openly accuse your wife of cheating, it might be very hard on your marriage.
You may have ruled out an affair, but I am sorry to say, that is more than likely what happened! No offense, but if you are both blonde hair and blue eyed, and I would assume very fair skin, then there is only one answer to that question. Sorry :( Especially considering most caucasion babies are born with blond hair and blue eyes that can darken over time, but you don't usually hear of 2 scandanavians having an asian looking baby. I would seriously get a paternity test, but you might try to do it discreetly, because if by some miracle it is yours, you don't want to offend your wife. But it doesn't seem very likely.
Blonde hair and blue eyes are both recessive traits so your baby probably picked up the dominant ones from your DNA. And as for an "asian skin tone" if you mean the baby looks a bit yellow you might want to get it checked for jaundice.
That said, the person that answered before me is an idiot. I know a lot of white people with "dark" eyes. In fact, brown eyes are the most common in the world.
Babies change so much over time!! My daughter was born with lots of jet black hair, all red and also a bit asian looking, she's now blonde, blue eyed and caucasian white!! It depends.. babies change so much from the time they're born till much later.
Also maybe you need to do a family tree maybe there's some asian ancesters as well!
Also how old is your baby? because of skin colour he might be jaundice! And needs to be put under a especial lamp at the hospital!
If not I would ask your wife again or do DNA......
Give it more time before you go getting a DNA test. If your wife finds out you did this and it turns out she was telling the truth you are going to have even more problems. Has anyone else made the comment that the baby looks nothing like you? You are referring to this baby as "the child" instead of "our son" so it seems as if you've already made up your mind that it is not your baby, which probably means you have not been bonding with him as a normal father would. I understand that you have doubts but please don't ruin your marriage and the relationship you could have with this baby based on a lack of resemblance between you and a 2 month old.
The eyes are probably a dark gray. Most newborns' are, no matter the race and their real eye color becomes apparent at a few months old. As for the hair, most of the time, the batch of hair on the head at birth falls out and the real hair (colorwise) appears later.
Then again, you could be the "victim" of a girl like one I know--dyed her hair blond and wore contacts. Her boyfriend dumped her when their baby was born with brown hair and eyes. (I showed him a pic of her and me as kids--she and I both have brown hair and eyes, but they'd both moved on)
My daughter looks Asian. She has the almond shaped eyes, dark hair, eyes and even a darker skin tone. My fiance has Asian way back in his roots. I mean way back there, so were guessing the traits just stuck out in her. Plus babies eyes change when their older and their hair can change also.
LOL. Its just genes. There is probably someone in your family with those features or a couple people with at least one of those features. My brother came out looking exactly like his uncle. Me and my brother looked so different at birth. My mom has brown eyes and black hair and my dad blue eyes and brown hair. Well my brother came out with white hair and blue eyes pale skin and I came out looking like my mom with black hair, brown eyes, and tan skin. In addition, my son is half mexican/half white but is darker than his half black/half white cousin. Who'd figure?
Remember, brown eyes are the dominant gene, so if anyone in your family or her family has brown eyes, it isn't strange for your child to have brown eyes. As for the skin, most babies, no matter how white their family is, come out kinds tan.
My sister looked asian when she was born... we aren't blonde haired or blue eyed but we are definitely not asian.
Dark hair and eye colour is a dominant gene so maybe one of you carry the gene from your ancestors
well how old is your baby? because it's hard to tell what your childs eye color will be until they are a little older. And if your child is a newborn, the "asian" skintone could be because your baby is slightly jaundiced, which causes a yellowish skintone. If your babies skin is really yellow, and is only a few days old, you need to contact your baby's doctor.
