What's the best hatchback in the market today?
I'm 16 and about to get my license. With this comes my first car. I do want a hatchback but I'm wondering which one is the best in terms of overall ride and fuel consumption (I.e. VW Golf, Honda fit, Ford Focus SI)?

Brand new or used? Brand new I would have to say Honda fit or Toyota yaris will probably be the most reliable and have the best resale value, if not the Subaru impreza.
As for used cars take a look at toyota matrix.
