girl had a boyfriend for a year or two. They broke up and we had crushes on each other so we hooked up a few times and it was really intimate and fun. But I made the mistake of getting too attached and scared her away. A few months later, we come back to college and live down the street from each other and we're friends, but she got back together with her old boyfriend! This is going to sound really pathetic but i am pretty much obsessed with this girl. I know deep down that its never going to work out between us but I just can't seem to accept it. And I'm so worried that I will never be with another woman as beautiful as her, I think that's partially why I want her so bad (pathetic, I know). I've tried moving on, I've even hooked up with a few girls since her, but I'm still just completely infatuated with her. Please please help me, tell me what I have to do to move on and forget about her. These thoughts are eating me alive.

You're not pathetic. I, too, am completely obsessed with a girl. My problem is that she ignores me. But that's not your problem, is it? Anyway, the only thing you can do is play it cool. As long as she knows you still have deep feelings for her, she should eventually come back to you. If not, force her to make a decision. Either you will fall in love with each other or she'll become so much of a ***** that you won't have any feelings for her whatsoever. That's the way it works and there's not much you can do about it short of killing any guy she ever likes to a point where you are the last man left on earth.
There's always someone better looking, looks aren't everything though, the good looking ones are always defective anyway.
