Obese people need help from doctors, dietitians, fitness trainers, counselors, etc. Does one of those jobs appeal to you more than the others?
Any major leading to these professions, including strong emphasis in liberal arts, and communications.
Physical Therapist, Nutritionist, Nurse, Exercise Trainer, Dietitian, Psychologist, Behaviorist, Physician, Hypnotist
Weight Loss Researcher
Indirect routes may be possible in your case, depends on your skill areas. You can always put this ethic in your back burner and prioritize following your talents and passions, which may not be specifically about helping our obese nation.
For example take a look at the careers of people who have influenced the masses in the health industry, like Jack LaLane, Oprah Winfrey, and Richard Simons.
Develop your natural talents first, then use them to contribute to the world.
I would major in biology. You really need at least a Masters tn nutrition or a medical degree to actually help people. That means what you do undergrad is not much of an issue. Biology is fine fo either.

Nutrition Science or Psychology
Well, dietician is the first career that comes to mind if you want to do exactly what you said you want to. Otherwise, becoming a research scientist specialized in that field might allow you to major in bio. If you want to go to med school, it doesn't matter what you major in btw.
