Personally I don't think I can bare one more "running away from an explosion" more so in the slow motion. It's as bad as someone slipping and falling in a horror flick.
its how they do explosions so lousy at times for effects.
I cant remember what movie it was
but two scenes made me laugh.
first scene was a guy firing a missile at a tent and some gan barrels. the missile did an amazing thing. First it fires off as one piece then splits into two. One goes to the barrels and the other to the tent. No such missile exists.
second scene is pretty much the same except this time a guard tower being the target. the missile flies from the launcher, hits the ground, bounces off, splits off into two parts, one hits the tower and the other goes wild into the back ground.

I hate the Helicopter v.s Car chase scene cliche. It'sin Die Har,d Terminator, everything!
Also, probably the biggest modern cliche, killing someone's daughter. The old man always happens to be good at hunting people down and can use guns.
