I am in great pain with a muscle but i cannot define what muscle it is, it is at the very top of my leg and any help/advice would be much appreciated. It is the muscle at the top of my leg where the little bump is before it meet your body.

Knowing what it's called won't help the pain, so why not see your local pharmacist or GP?

Good luck,

Well, that might be your pelvic area. But the whole thigh/leg is called quadriceps femorus. It starts from your hip and goes to your knee. Hope this helps!
