nope it wouldnt matter. it may get them to the finals again but its not enough firepower to get them over phoenix, san antonio or dallas.
losing wallace isnt just losing technicals its losing a good 3 ball, post up offense, good defense, and rebounds. if they lose a rebounder in rasheed wallace after losing ben wallace they wont be much of a threat to bigger teams like cleveland(who led the east in offensive rebounds) and up and coming teams like toronto(bosh would kill them under) and chicago.
losing hamilton for kobe isnt bad at all but with saying that you lose hamiltons leadership and team work. the pistons are a pretty close family (except for saunders of course) and lets face it this was webbers last shot he cant replace Wallace.
chauncey billups, teyshawn prince, and kobe bryant arent enough to win the NBA Finals. not when you have trios like Terry, Dirk, Howard.....Manu, Parker, Duncan...........Marion, nash, stoudemire.
it would be a good stepping stone for Detroit but not a 2008 NBA Finals Championship.
either way thats not enough to get kobe bryant the lakers wouldnt get that star value they need to keep fans happy in L.A.
That's enough for them to win the Eastern Title again, I would think so. But, Billups/Bryant would be kind of tough to go together. The Pistons would finally have one main scorer. The pistons are such a well balanced offense, perhaps a shakeup would do them good. I don't think thats a championship winning team, but definetely something to watch out for if it ever did happen.

Then they could sign another PF and they would be set to win it.

NO, it would be the same in lakers but better
No big man that can keep going and going..they are big olds.
so is Prince and Billsup gonna get any shots off? maybe
whos thier backup?
If they wouldnt trade Sheed for Matrix,
and they have Rip and Sheed, they wouldnt Trade them for Kobe
my opinion is they would be worse then this past season. you are giving up too much. How about Rip and a draft pick down the road?
na not hamilton. billups
instant championship
