What did my boyfriend's mom mean?
My boyfriend was gonna bring me some food' because my family goes out to pizza without taking me cause they said no and my house is never with food and if their is the food is days old. like about 4 days old...and i had nothing for the night even when i didn't ate the whole day and when his mom saw him grabbing a few bags of soup said " im over exaggerating" why do you think she said that? she doesn't know what goes and happens around my house. my boyfriend said she didn't mind its just she thinks im over exaggerating....

my sister is the one who buys food and only wastes $80 every Saturday when theirs 8 people in the house.. & she never buys many things to make. the food only lasts about 3 days... if your wondering why i didn't go is because my family is kinda selfish.. well it was my grandma nephew and 2 sisters that went... everyone else is working...

When your boyfriend's mom said you were "over exaggerating" I think all she meant was exactly that..that the situation was over exaggerated. And that there probably was food, just not anything that you would exactly want to eat.
I don't think she was trying to be mean or anything, just protective. Its really sweet that your bf brought you food!! :)
She means what she said, that she thinks you're making it a bigger deal than it is. If your boyfriend said she didn't mind, then believe him, she probably didnt and just made a dumb remark. Plus the girlfriend has dibs on all the boyfriends food ^_^ lol, don't sweat it.
