Well if its a question of Odysseus' heroism, there is heaps of examples you can give. If it's about book 9 this question then really is not that hard, i think you are just being lazy. Read it.
Talk about Odysseus' flaws, staying in cave, exploiting the custom of xenia against his men's wishes.
Talk about how he gets himself out of the situation. Improvising with the stake, the use of the wine, the 'i'm nobody' trick and how he escapes under the ram.
Talk also about his leadership and the care he shows for the rest of his men (notably around their deaths.)
Talk about the Cyclopes' barbaric behavior, e.g. he eats men raw, he does not follow Greek custom of xenia (he kills his guests and eats them). You can also talk about his more human qualities as a shepherd of sheep. The cyclopes shows genuine care for his sheep.
Then talk of how once Odysseus has left, he risks sinking his ship by taunting the Cyclopes and gloating as it helps Polyphemus locate Odysseus. Odysseus has an uncanny ability to get himself into trouble and then wriggle his way out of it in this book.
That is probably the easiest question you would ever get on Homer's Odyssey. Hope that helps.
If you are going to be writing an essay examining Odysseus's man or woman, then check out discovering prices or portions of proof out of your tale to corroborate your claims that he is a sensible fighter, an extraordinary chief, a fearless/wary/sneaky character, and many others. Also attention at the whys. Like, why is Odysseus ______? How does his historical past and his relationships with different characters affect his habits? And such a lot importantly, why is that this essential? Why has Homer written Odysseus the way in which he did? What values does Odysseus have that have been noticeable has essential in Greek tradition? Does Odysseus's tale provide an explanation for some thing approximately Greek tradition? Remember that historical literature frequently ties right into a society's political, social, devout, and cultural ideals.
Here, I just redid the whole thing:
Odysseus displays true heroism in his episode with the cyclops, where he concocts the plan to impale the cyclops' only eye. Not only does this give a clear example of his ability to think quickly, but it also shows that he has the gusto and fervor to put these improvisational plans into motion.
There ya go.
i think u should probably write about his plan like when the cyclop asks him who he is (the name trick)
i have no idea, sorry
