I have been collecting unemployment for several months. Meanwhile I have been aggressively searching for work.... but to no avail. Three weeks ago I decided to move to an asian country to look for a job teaching english. I have not found a job just yet and I can still request unemployment payments from my location via online if i choose. Should I still continue to collect unemployment $ until I find a job over here????
Update:fyi - I left the USA three weeks ago.

If you are temporarily in the asian country looking for work and plan on returning to the US then you are alright. If you have officially moved then unemployment should have stopped on the day you left the US. My husband collected unemployment before we were stationed in Germany and WA state had to stop the payments the day we left the country, most states are the same.
Unemployment skill you're actually not employed. From the 2nd you get on that bus you're paid. subsequently no. Why could you even desire to? Be proud to be a helpful and contributing member of society, particularly of a leech.
if you are not available to take a job where you are collecting unemployment, no, you are no longer eligible for unemployment
I don't see a problem with it. You are still looking for work, and have not permanently moved yet.
Yep might as well. Remember YOU and your employer paid in for the "insurance".
