Keyboard/Sound problem! Please help, seriously frustrated?
Okay, I have a windows XP.
The computer has everything loaded correctly, the drivers are all there, has no viruses. It says a sound card isn't detected. Now if I take the speaker plug out and start to put it back in I can hear static but once it's all the way in nothing happens!
What can I do to make it detect sound?
Another problem I have is my keyboard doesn't seem to register before windows shows up, I cannot select "safemode with networking" or anything because it doesn't respond to the keys before loading in regular windows mode!
Can someone PLEASE tell me what's wrong?
Update:It doesn't show any errors

In response to the problem you are having with your keyboard, it may be that your keyboard is faulty, the usb ports/ whatever port you are connecting to the keyboard is broken (most likely the motherboard.) Does your computer have a sound card/integrated sound? this could be one of many reasons, such as a broken plug or socket, or your computer is screwed up. First check if any software is interfering, then check the hardware. i have a feeling it is a hardware problem.
