red sox, white sox,it doesnt really matter
he would actually come through for the dodgers
and like i said,he might not have been a hard hitter, but he was still pretty good.and he made up for it in speed
manny had so much hype, and strike out half the time
not to mention he brought bad attention to the dodgers cause of his use of Female enhancers....
Update:i guess your right
pierre's contract may have been a little pricey

The first answer is correct, Pierre is going to the White Sox, but an honest mistake.
AS for his departure, The Dodgers still have Manny(an expensive contract) for one more year and PIerre was not cheap himself. He signed this bulky contract when he came over form like Chicago i think. With Kemp, Either guranteed a starting gig, the Dodgers felt it was too pricey to be paying a 4th outfielder so many millions. It was the right move in my opinion.
Good trade for both teams.
For the Dodgers:
They had 4 outfielders before the trade. So Pierre was the odd man out. Also, they were trying to free up salary space and for how little Pierre was playing, he was getting paid a lot. Jon Link (prospect in trade) is major league ready and John Ely when 14-2 in AA with an ERA less than 3.00.
For the White Sox:
They found a leadoff hitter and outfielder.
Also, Pierre may be better than Manny but there is no way the Dodgers would sit Manny and play Pierre.
Umm, he's going to the White Sox, bro. How is it dumb? Juan Pierre isn't nearly the hitter Manny Ramirez is. Not to mention, he has a hefty contract, and the Dodgers are broke. So they had to get rid of him.
Pierre is a very respectable baseball player and the Dodgers did the honorable thing by trading him where he will start and have the opportunity to make a real difference. Go Dodgers!!
lool, true. I remember when my team played the dodgers when Manny was out, I was always so worrrieeddd about Pierre getting on base and going nuts with his speed.
HES already a WHITE SOX AN DA SOX FOUND THERE LEAD OFF HITTER THANKS 2 DA DODGERS
