People will probably be like "whoa, you're short," but unless you provoke someone they won't try to pick on you. (It really depends on the people around you too.) There are actually a lot of short high schoolers these days so I can assure you that you aren't alone. With shorter people, what I've noticed, it's not the people that you don't know who will tease you about your height, but it's your friends that will most likely jokingly make fun of your shortness. And 4'11 isn't that bad. It's only 1 inch away from 5 feet. If people do make fun of you for it just know that what they think doesn't matter. That's the way you are and mean words shouldn't change anything.

Not at all. I was around that height when I just started freshman year of high school. I've grown about 2 more inches then--it's been about 3 years since I graduated high school. You're probably around thirteen or fourteen, which means you're most likely still growing.

No its not for there are many people that are shorter than you and personally sometimes I wish I was shorter so, I can wear high heels that look better on Shorter people but, you also have to remember everyone is different and genetics play a special role.

Im 15 and a sophomore, im 4'7. ITS OKAY !! Lol I get teased but not in mean ways. Its mostly joking around just dont let them laugh at you, laugh with them. Ive been teased since 4th grade but if you dont let it bother you then they wont do it in a mean way. You just have to learn to joke with them. Plus, guys like short girls ;)

No, my cousin is 16 and 5'1''. I know plenty of people your age who haven't reached 5 ft yet, it's normal.
