i.e. .. the pc owner is never aware of it, unless he looks in his task manager? ... no icon in the tray etc?
i'm mainly interested for "seeding purposes" of one of my albums i want to get disibuted more
see i fix these blokes computers all the time, but they never pay me , so i figured this would be a fare trade
Update:... i make alot of music, and i've nver sued anyone for illegelly downloading it .. it's nice when they pay, but if anyone sued anyone it would be me, because i own all the rights to my own creations

I use Vuze. Once you select what you want seeded, hit the "x" and it'll go to the taskbar at the right corner.

BTW, JC, the question specifically said "distribute my own album", suggesting a musician trying to get his music in the world perhaps.
Edited answer to reflect asker's ownership of copyright : I'm sorry for the harsh answer due to a misinterpretation. It's your album, so you control the copyright. But I would still not do it. Your client may have limited bandwidth (x gb/month) or an acceptable usage policy where they could get their internet terminated for nonstop seeding. I would be more upfront with your clients and ask them to run a program as a favor to you for fixing their laptops. If they never seed, don't fix their computer again.
I think they all let yo choose if you want to use an icon Or you can just hide the icon with the hiding feature.
