I've been on 70mg lofepramine for around 2 month now and they haven't changed my moods or anything and I'm still suicidal. Just an hour ago I started feeling like I was high and that I wasn't actually alive and now I'm starting to freak out again. What's going on?

Its best to talk with your doctor about medication issues

"Undesirable effects
Special warnings and precautions for use
Suicide/suicidal thoughts or clinical worsening.
Depression is associated with an increased risk of suicidal thoughts, self harm and suicide (suicide-related events). This risk persists until significant remission occurs. As improvement may not occur during the first few weeks or more of treatment, patients should be closely monitored until such improvement occurs. It is general clinical experience that the risk of suicide may increase in the early stages of recovery
Nervous system:
Dizziness, headache, paraesthesia, tremor; rarely, drowsiness, convulsions, impairment of the sense of taste; very rarely, uncoordinated movement.
Psychiatric:
Sleep disturbances, agitation, confusion, nightmares, hallucinations, hypomania, mania, psychoses, delirium.
Cases of suicidal ideation and suicidal behaviors have been reported during lofepramine therapy or early after discontinuation"
There are several psychiatric side effects caused by the use of Loferpramine. Cases of suicidal ideation and behaviors have been commonly reported during Lofepramine therapy or early after discontinuation. Remember, severely depressed patients are at risk of suicide until there is a complete remission of symptomatology.
I think it would be in your best interest to contact your doctor right away before symptoms get worse. You may want to inquire about dual diagnosis treatment to your doctor since you mention that Lofepramine, so far, offers no relief in your moods and suicidal ideation.
Please seek help quickly. Good luck to you.
I encourage you to lower your dosage of medication and integrate a plan of wellness and holistic health. Antidepressants work to alter natural chemicals produced in the brain, but they so poorly affect all of the surrounding chemicals and body parts that do not need this shift. As human beings, we have the ability to create this shift within ourselves.
I have been studying Alternative Medicine under Brian Sheen (founder of The Florida Institute for Complementary and Alternative Medicine and The Quantum Healing & Empowerment Center), and have seen some really miraculous results through modalities such as meditation, bio-energetics, mind and body work.

Yes its ordinary. Maybe you would take whatever else with it? What was once the rationale for halfing the dose? You notion it was once an excessive amount of and why you have been having such temper swings?
