i have a bank account in my name that my father created for me as a child, and every birthday my uncle puts money in it. however i havent been using it and it has no credit cards or cheques issued for it. it's only money saved for the future.
now i would like to withdraw some cash from this account to buy a car. the amount is $15000 and i would like to withdraw it from the bank directly.
how does this process work? can i withdraw money without having a credit card or cheques? do i need identification? is my bank account private or can anybody see how much is in there? will my father or uncle be able to tell that money has been withdrawn?
can you please give me information.

Why not check all those things with the bank? They are the best ones to know how the system works in their bank.
I'd say go along with some ID and ask what you are asking here.
If the account is only in your name then others can't access the details, so you'd need to check that too.
I'd say that if it is your money, in your name only, then you are able to do whatever you like with the money without anyone except bank staff knowing.
Of course, it could be a trust account, then that is something different. So you need to ask the bank full details.
