If you could recommend one book for someone with PTSD, what book would you recommend. I have the PTSD workbook by Mary Beth Williams, but I am looking for a book that explains PTSD and triggers and why I react to things the way I react to them. I guess if you could recommend a book that is like the Bible for PTSD, the one book you think everyone with PTSD should read, that would help me. Sometimes I understand why I react the way I do, what causes my trauma, but what I don't know is how to fix things. Please don't give rude answers, Thanks in advance for help.

This is not meant as a rude comment at all but there's a book called PTSD for dummies by Mark Goulston. That's probably a great book to get into to help explain the disorder. Also, it's directed to individuals who actually suffer from it so please have a look.
