I want to do better next semester, any advice?
Is there any hope for me being able to improve my GPA? It's a 2.66 and I know I should have tried harder during the semester. I'm a psychology major, but I want to take pre-med classes as well; I also have small but growing hopes of being able to enter medical school in the future. I've done fairly well in my high school math (a bit worse) and science classes. I'm in junior college right now.
I need some advice so I can do better. Preparation tips, opinions, suggestions are appreciated.

Start term papers as soon as they are assigned and meet with your professor to show him/her your paper in advance. If there is a problem, it can be corrected before you turn it in for a grade
Find or establish a study group
Talk to your professor if you don't understand something. All professors have office hours for this.
Take a few easy classes you know you can get an A in while you are at a junior college.
Study, Study, Study... Maybe consider getting a study partner, it's easier and a lot more fun with two ( or more)... Cut out the beer runs and all night parties. Focus all of your spare time on getting what you want out of life. There is plenty of time left for all that other stuff, but if you f*** up college, you may not get another chance. Good luck to you.
