Would it be better to drive I-20 to Georgia then South through Florida or South through Mississippi then I-10 to Florida. We have 3 young children and will probably have to take frequent breaks.
Also- is there anything we can do to make kids' 1st trip EXTRA special. I know about the buttons and we have many things scheduled and planned. I just mean things like getting noticed for the parades or having a cast member be extra special.

We have driven to the Shreveport area several times. Probably best to just go south to the I-12 which becomes I-10 and follow to 1-75 and then the Fl turnpike straight to Disney. Yes it can be a boring trip,
but traffic is usually not bad. At Disney a lot depends on WHEN and ages. This time of the year - Thanksgiving weekend and the week AFTER Christmas are not fun. Wall to wall crowds.
Rest of the time parks are pretty slow. Under three all parks free. Best for small children the Magic Kingdom - If the crowd are not bad you can get good advice from guest service or from any employee.
When it is packed they cannot help much. It would helo if you get a good Disney guide or check on the internet. You might want to use www.allears.net (they have really everything.
Two words
