First, awwww:) But second, best thing i can tell you is, if you really really care about someone you should just put it out there. Of course you're going to want him to ask you, but if he hasnt already it may be because he thinks he will get rejected by you...so just have the talk and say look, id rather it have been you bringing this up, but we need to talk about this, i care about you, but i need to know if we're always going to be friends or if we can be more than that. Remind him that whatever the answer is, that you will still be his friend and blah blah lol. but if you dont have the conversation one way or another you'll just keep tormenting yourself and you could miss out on the love of your life!

It certainly sounds like you guys are in love, sometimes love creeps up on us, as opposed to jumping up at us. He doesn't really have to "Ask you out" to show you, perhaps because he is laughed at he is holding that part back. Also don't care what others think consider if those others make you feel good or care for you like he does. Often too, we don't choose whom we fall in love with, but love is always a gift.
