Why would Viacom Want our personal information from youtube?
the obvious and answer and wrong answer is to see who are putting up viacom related videos, But what occurred to me, is that the want the information of every youtube user i.p. address what videos were uploaded and viewed. For the sole purpose of financial gain viacom= Videos= mtv bet comedy central, logo, and dreamworks, so they can produce movies and tv. shows catered to what we watch and upload. Not only that by them having our I.P. address they can literally locate where we are at any point and time. I know the U.S. federal court upheld a ruling allowing Viacom to do that, but he was born in 1927 I dont believe he even knows what a computer is
Contact Judge Louis Stanton and ask him why would he make such a horrible decision infringing on the rights of the American people and also infringing on the rights to people abroad
212-805-0252 Judge Stanton's Office
udge Stanton has directed Google/YouTube to provide Viacom with end user log-in/ID names, Internet protocol (IP) addresses, and video clip details (totaling more than 12 terabytes of data). The judgment was criticized by Google and privacy advocates who point out that the ruling ignores the protection of the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA - U.S. Code, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 121, § 2710-11) which was created to prevent such personal information being released without the permission of the subject. Stanton held that because Youtube is not a "video tape service provider" as defined in the referenced act, Title 18, Part I, Chapter 121, § 2710-11 does not apply. However, wording of § 2710, def. a-4 arguably applies to any commercial distributor of audio visual material, in which case an overturn of Stanton's ruling could reasonably be anticipated upon appeal. The privacy advocate Simon Davies has commented that confidential YouTube usage data for millions of individuals is threatened. Judge Stanton did, however, deny the formal discovery Demand by Viacom for secret source code used for YouTube video searches and the Viacom Demand for Google to provide access to videos YouTube users store in private YouTube files."[ - Wiki
Americans are smarter than people realize and they'll realize that Obama is very eloquent but in the end, he has no substance and has never accomplished anything or stood for anything
I agree 100%. He can't hide from the truths of his past forever. Being friends with terrorist bomber Bill Ayers is going to kill his campaign. They should replace him with Hillary while there is still time.

I am. I'm voting McCain just to vote against Obama
and as of last night he's got a lot less supporters now that people see what a real candidate really is.
I will vote third party.
Me. I'm not thrilled with McCain, but he is certainly better than the alternative.
Sign me up!
You said it brother.
