it my physics homework it says
The diagram shows water waves made by a machine in a swimming pool
every second two wages go past the person standing in the swimming pool
i) what is the frequency of the water waves
ii)The waves have a wavelenth of 0.8metres -- calculate the speed of the water waves
Write down the equasion you use, and then show clearly how you work out your answer
Thanks for the help, remember 10 points for the right answer :)

the first answer is itself in the question ... Frequency is 2 ..since its written ..'every second two wages go past'. Remeber frequency is the the no. of oscillations per second.
The second is also easy as u have both the wavelength and frequency.
Speed=Wavelenght*Frequency
=0.8*2
= 1.6 m/s
