it might be hard for the 1st few days or weeks... adjusting to the new environment... getting 2 know ppl around you... then doing the job itself... hafta learn new things...
when i 1st started working i know tht whtever i've learned in college can't be applied to my work. i learned from scratch... so don't worry too much about wht ppl expect you to do coz all the new staffs are as blur as you ;)
as u go along u progress, u gain more experience u have more expertise n u can ask for a raise ;)
the bad part would be there will always be sum1 who is jealous of u n would want to put u down... this is wht we normally call office politics... i won't go into detail explanation
the most important thing is u enjoy the work, ask as much as possible from the senior staffs when u don't know or understand certain things, n make lots of frens... doesn't matter if tht person is only a janitor or a gardener...
Everybody worries when they start their first job as not sure what to expect.
My first job was hard at first but it does get easier over time as you get to understand how things work.
Best advice I was ever given: ask questions if you don't understand something. If you ask questions and get good answers you will start to learn how the job works and this will give you more confidence.
Good luck
Depends what kind of job you get... a lot of intro jobs are easy. You just have to charge in with confidence and don't mess up to bad. haha. good luck...
It wasn't for me, but you'll get use to it. If you aren't use to working it's going to be different.
