Finish this line: "Operation "Fillintheblank" is in..."?
I'm trying to remember the typical phrase people say when they are on a mission . Like in movies, it could be kids pretending to play military or something and they'll say Operation Something is in action...is it action or another word? Could it be is in full... I can't seem to remember. Anyways thanks =]

But I don't know what kind of context you're trying to put it into. Normally you'll be talking about the teams in themselves, and report when they've left base / found action / whatever. The operation in itself won't really be the centre of attention until it's officially been launched (although most of these things aren't official!) or brought to an end.
The military itself doesn't actually say anything regarding the start of missions. They go "Hey, this is Operation Kill Stuff... We do X, Y, and Z at 1700 in area C. Ready? Let's go."
I'd personally go with "Operation Something is commencing" if you wanted to be a tacticool mall ninja.
