Does WIC cover 100% of the forumula cost?
how much of the formula cost does WIC acutally cover? Does it cover it all or will you stilll be paying for some of the formula in the end?
just curious so I have somewhat of and idea.

We usually only had to buy 1 extra can per month when the baby got a little bigger.
WIC is different in every state but I had mine in KY and I believe I got 10 small cans of powdered formula (it has been 3 years so I could be wrong and it may have been 9). I ended up having to buy 1 of the bigger cans to get us through the rest of the month because my son started out drinking a 6 oz bottle and quickly moved to 8 oz. I was just happy I only had to buy 1 can. My sister only used 6 of the 10 cans she got so I guess it depends on the baby.
Most of the WIC programs pay for a certain amount of formula per month (ozs not dollar amount) They base this on what is recommended for a healthy baby some eat more some eat less. If your baby eats more than you would have to buy more until you get your next set of checks.
WIC are like free coupons for specific items. The checks will have a range of days when you can use it. It will also say how many and which brand/type of formula. From what i've heard from friends they still had to buy four or five can's themselves.
the check will say 12 10 oz cans of Enfamil.
It will pay for a certain amount of can of formula, and it's most always JUST enough to feed your baby each month.
I haven't paid for formula since my baby was born, since I have WIC.
they give you a coupon for so much a month, if you use more then they give you then you will have to pay for it yourself. in my experience WIC usually gives you more then you need of stuff. so you should be fine.
We do use WIC, but im not sure about the formula because i breastfeed.
WIC supplies me with 8 cans a month-7 in february. i usually use abuot 9 cans. when you lose your WIC benefits when your child is 6 months old, they will still provide juice, formula, and cereal.

they give u less if u are breast feeding
they provide 31 cans of concentrate a month..
if your baby needs more, youll need to purchase that.
but as far as your WIC coupons, they will cover the whole cost.
it depends I got 9 cans a month but my daughter near the end was going through likr 12 - 14 cans a month, so it just depends on how much baby is drinking.
