Okay so if you read my other questions, you'll know that my boyfriend and I broke up because we barely saw each other and it felt like a "fake" relationship (so he says). Then he ignored me all last week when I poured my heart out to him, but answered the phone when my friend called and said he loves me and cares and misses me and he would talk to me when he was ready. She was joking around and said "dj my party,your girl will be there.." and he said " nooo, then i might try to kiss her or something" lol idk He said it would be awkward talking to me. Finally, he talked to me and said "if we got back together it would just be the same thing all over again" and by that he meant us not seeing each other . I always tried to make plans with him though. Anyways, he said "I just need to think things through before I get myself into something I can't handle." <-- Should I be Happy or Sad about that?

Next thing, I asked how he felt about our break up and he said he hadnt really had time to think about it because my friends bug him about it everyday. So i decided to let him go through what i went through, and we wont talk to him, or anything for a week so he can just think. BUT there's this party he's gonna be dj'ing at on saturday and me and my friends already planned to go. I figured going, he would see me and things would be good again? I want to prove to him that we WILL be able to see each other. With a little effort :) Good Idea? Opinions?Advice? Should i be happy about the "thinking it through" thing? HELP

Hey :) umm, Trader18.. or whoever else who feels the same, I understand it's a break up but we had a good thing going. Our only problem was not seeing each other. I don't want to be easy to give up on it. So call me crazy, but I'm not just gonna let this one get away. I appreciate your suggestion though! (by the way you guys, we live about 20 minutes away from each other, not far)
