Advanced Placement classes are always much tougher than the regular classes. If you are prepared to work hard have good study habbits then I think it's a good idea, it looks good on college applications. Another thing to take into consideration is if you are good in Geography. Ultimatly the choice is up to you but I am sure you will pick what's right for you.

Actually I found that the course was quite tough, it may have been the teacher but it is not just about locating places, its more like angles and lines of latitude etc. Be prepared and do not expect it to be a pushover class... Also universities will not care about a grade 9 AP class so I would not advise it... But if you like a challenge then go for it!

Geography is very fun - but I hope your memorization skills are up to par! You're going to be constantly memorizing countries, up to 50 per test. And you usually have to spell every single one right also. And that's just regular old Geo!!!

Geo was definately my favorite subject this year. I'm going to be a tenth grader next year, and I'm taking AP Human Studies, which is the second version of Human Geo. Exciting.

if you are really smart, then yes. Like I mean getting over a 95% in every single class. Otherwise, save the AP classes for 11th and 12th grade.

yes. whats the point of taking ap classes if colleges dont even look at your 9th grade year take ap in 10th 11th and 12th. trust me your going to get soooo stressed.......
