If you are talking about a "bot" to level your character, then Blizzard's Warden system will likely catch it, and you get your account banned.
If you are talking about having a character power leveled by a website, they can usually see the IP address changing, and ban your account. (A lot of them use "bots" too.)
If you are talking about doing it yourself, then you will not get your account banned.
I recommend going to curse-gaming.com and looking for either HelpQuest or QuestHelp (I can't remember which, but it's a highly recommended on on the site).
It's an add-on (perfectly legal) that will help you with getting quests done by showing where to go on your map when you get a new quest.
It also recommends a path to take, but that can sometimes be a little off.
