My interview was like 5 minutes , he pretty much just sent me to orientation for tomorrow and said I'll continue to orientation if I meet the general manager and he likes me. Does this mean I have a interview with the gen. mgmt?? or did I just get the job... I'm confusedddd
Thnx.

It IS confusing. But most likely what they mean is that they like you, and want to keep you, but if general manager says no, you're out.
What Is Orientation Interview
I hire about 6 people per week.
Not sure about it.
Scenario A: The interviewer liked you and will recommend you to the GM.
Scenario B: It's just a pipeline, where the GM breezes into Orientation and takes who looks good.
Here's what I'd do. Dress biz casual, or about how the interviewer did. Prepare yourself by learning as much about the company as you can, so you can ask questions that show you're more on the ball than anyone else who shows up.
Also prepare a few questions for the GM, like what biz books he recommends, and how is he achieving his goals at the company.
Sound like you have a final interview with the general manager and if you pass that means you get the job and go to orientation.
Goodluck!
the way they have it set up is the general manager chooses whom he wants to work under him, out of those that qualify....the GM is gonna be looking for someone suiting his/her personal preferences, so its still up in the air.
