should i not ... My boyfriend's mom always wants to meet my mom. She's a very involved parent unlike my mom :/ Anyway my boyfriend and I have been together for about a year now. We couldn't be more in love. For months now my bf's mom has been asking to meet my mom. I really like and wanna set a good impression on her. I love his family truly and they treat me as their own. EVen though we're young I have this huge feeling we will be together for atleast a very long time. We are already set to move in together a year after we graduate we are 18 and seniors in HS. So wen we are in college. We both know what we want, we are old souls and just about family time and most of all time together and doing activities and having fun.I feel like I belong more with my bf and his family than my own , I just feel like I fit more. Anyway my moms really lazy and I been asking her to go on activities with us ( me , him , his mom, family etc) She just wont budge and my bf told me his mom thinks my mom just doesn't want to meet her. It makes me feel bad too his mom is really sweet and always includes me and my mom isnt that way at all. I would rather be her daughter than my moms ... Sadly. Well it is true though my mom says things like " well It's not like your gunna marry him" or " he wont be your only bf" . She feels like there isnt much importance. Even though it means alot to me but i guess i gotta get over it. I do feel though she has no hope smh and whats funny is. God willingly if we are together 3 years from now we're getting engaged and i defintley see us 3 years from now. I feel so strongly about me and him. I know this is expected from my mom. Shes not the supportive type for anything or for anyone. My family all kind of dislikes my moms negative and bad ways too. It makes me think maybe not meeting is a good idea cause I dont want my bfs mom to think Im as bad as my mom. I really want to have a good relationship with his mom , what should i do?
