I have no doubt that they media hyped. It does however highlight a problem that is in this country. Young girls/boys wanting to get tanned to look better. I was speaking to somebody who had a sun bed at home and she was letting her 9 year old daughter use it to get a tan before they go on holiday to spain. Disgusting,,
You make no sense...but a F***ing 15 year old should not be tanning. You don't work, can't drive and it is lame. You are probably some dumb, stuck up blond who thinks getting skin cancer is cool. Well HELLO that is not true, and you look nothing BUT attractive you look all sick and gross.

Well regardless if they altered the situation too much ex poser to tanning beds and sun are harmful! When you are older your skin isn't supple it becomes dry,leathery and are more prone to skin cancer! Always wear sun block,shades, and a hat especially if you work outside!

most damage is done by the time you're 8 but i would not allow my child (and at 15 this girl is a child) to use a sunbed. i no longer use them since my brother had a malignant melanoma on his ear.
