I am assuming you are on the NEW version of Yahoo Mail (where you see all your emails in a single page)! If so, you need to disable the "Conversations" which enables you to EDIT your email. Please follow below steps::
* Move cursor to the GEAR icon located in top right corner (next to your name);
* Select SETTINGS from the drop-down menu;
* Select VIEWING EMAIL in left pane;
* To your right, UN-CHECK the option "ENABLE CONVERSATIONS";
* Click on SAVE at the bottom of the screen.
Now, select the email you need to Forward and follow the procedure you used in the OLD mail to delete the previous addresses, sender's info, etc.,
NOTE: With this setting change, there are other oddities as well --->
a) Your emails will lose threads and can be viewed individually;
b) Your name will be displayed in both received & sent emails, instead of "ME";
c) You can locate only sent emails in the Sent folder and received in INBOX;
d) You will be able to SORT your emails by Sender / Subject / or even Alphabetically.
