Gordon is gone this year and there's also a good chance; Hinrich is dealt. You might not even have to wait till 2010 to see this in my opinion. Heavy word is, Bosh could be on the market now, because Toronto knows its unlikely they'll resign him in 2010 and would like something of value in return for him before he departs. Chicago has plenty of pieces that could go in a deal for Bosh. I could see this starting lineup:
PG - Derrick Rose
SG - John Salmons
SF - Luol Deng
PF - Tyrus Thomas
C - Chris Bosh
That's quite an athletic starting five to say the least; not to mention I'm still high on Luol Deng who I think should be stepping into his prime very shortly. If Tyrus Thomas can consistently hit that jumper we saw glimpses of in the playoffs, his game is already raised. If not; I'd rather play Noah at Center for his hustle and rebounding, and slide Bosh to the 4. Then not to mention John Salmons has proved he can be an explosive scorer; then with Rose leading the way. In the East, that would be a very dangerous team.
I've only really seen two teams in the mix for Bosh trades THIS coming year. The Detroit Pistons and The Chicago Bulls. Detroit is also the heavy favorite to lure Andre Miller from Philly in the free agent market. So all that talk of Detroit 'rebuilding', might be sooner to get back in the playoff hunt now rather then later. I'd rather see Bosh on that Bulls team though, that be an exciting team.
We can't say for sure. There are a lot of options for LeBron to choose from and Chicago is one of them. While it's safe to say that the Bulls is easily one of the most attractive teams that can get LeBron, Bosh coming into the picture is NOT so sure. Yes, he might have said that he's just waiting on LeBron but still, lots of things can happen and we might not even see those two together in Chicago. BQ: No. They'll get to the playoffs 100% but winning a ring is not yet guaranteed. You need to consider their chemistry and the opponent as well. As i've said, many things can happen and a team like Miami (with Wade and Amare) might even surprise them going forward.
I'm a bulls fan too and I hope he comes to chicago as well, but the starting lineup won't look like that, Bosh cannot play center.
PG- Rose
SG- Salmons
SF- Deng
PF- Bosh
C- Noah
Bench: Tyrus Thomas, Kirk Hinrich
I think they would slide Thomas to the bench and start Noah at the 5, because Chris Bosh is a prototypical power forward, and making him play center might be the same effect that is Amare at center.
Regardless, I love Bosh in Chicago. They've been dying for a legitimate 4 forever, and Bosh is almost as good as you can get. The other place I really see Bosh going to is Miami, because I think a duo of Wade and Bosh will be as good as anything we've seen in quite some time.
This is a good pick-up especially being a Bulls fan like myself, but I'm not getting excited, like the rest of the NBA world for some reason, about the 2010 season. Especially when the Finals aren't even complete THIS season, and we still have one FULL season to play before it.
Noah would definitely be better at center, as he is reportedly working out already for the next season, but Bosh at the power forward position would be solid. We've needed someone so talented and solid at that position since having Elton Brand here, as unhappy as he was being here. Bosh + D-Rose = AWESOMENESS.
lol im hoping the heatget him in a trade or stoudemire but thats ok the only thing i dont like about this is the bulls would ruin gordons career he is such a good player possible all star if he gets his min/shots and plays defense
ben gordon is crazy clutch so i don't know if i agree with that. And if Chris bosh knows that lebron will stay in cleveland its a done deal for the cavs
I heard he might get traded to Utah for Carlos Boozer.
the za france...we eh..how do u call it? we feel that za Chris Bosh is the best PF in the Eastern conference....and eh...i feel that he should stay in the Toronto. eh..if that is how u say it in the US.
