About 4 days ago, I hit some financial trouble and I fell into a hysterical crying fit. The next day when I woke up, this area in my back ribs on my right side hurt like no other. It hurt when I would walk, breathe, and turn my head to the right. The only time the pain subsided was when I would lay on my stomach. I tried taking pain relievers of all types and nothing could take the pain away. I finally tried some heat wraps/patches and that helped, but then they started to get too hot and burn me. Every one that I talked to seemed to think that I pulled some muscles. What say you?

From my own personal experience, pain comes when I'm stressed, and in fear. When my mind is filled with fearful thoughts, it changes the way my body functions, and I get pain, and other mind/body symptoms. I wouldn't say your crying pulled your muscle, but that the stressor, the financial burden that your carrying is causing the fear, adrenaline, fear cycle. Your fear (financial trouble), causes your body to produce too much adrenaline, it gives you your symptoms. Now your mind focuses on the symptoms, and your mind races with thoughts of there is something wrong with me, I will never feel the same, etc. Then your caught in the fear. I recommend going to your library to see if they carry any books from Claire Weekes.
There is always hope that you can recover and be that person you want to be.
